Disable automated emails for a project?

We have a project into which automatically generated alerts from our application are placed. The volume of these is quite high - we have to be monitoring the project cases fairly regularly anyway.

Is there a way to configure this project (or someplace else in FB) such that automated emails *do not* get sent when the new cases are created?

Thanks,

Donnie

Create a virutal user that does not get email and make it the primary contact for the project.

I didn't know that's what a "virtual user" was or how it could be used. The app doesn't surface that capability very well.

The issue is that it forces me to enter an email address. If I put in a real one, that address is going to get a ton of emails. If I put in a fake one, FB will get a bunch of errors trying to send to it.

That ***completely*** doesn't work. To follow this advice, I'll have to assign the virtual user a real email address. Which means something someplace is getting the emails, the whole issue I'm trying to avoid.

Under the user settings for the virtual email you can tell it to not send email, regardless of what the email field is set to.  There's a radio button there.

Thank you. I should have seen that.
