LDAP initial configuration

I am trying to get LDAP authentication to work the first time.  I first enter my LDAP server name on the Site page.  I am then prompted for a username and password.  If I enter my user name as it exactly appears in Active Directory, I get a "Username or password is incorrect".  If I intentionally enter an invalid password, it throws an error "ldap_bind(): Unable to bind to server: Invalid credentials".  This suggests the first authentication worked, but in the second case, it didn't fail gracefully.

I am using Fogbugz Version 4.0.33 (DB 469). Any idea why this won't work?

I think I might know... I fixed this for the next release but it has to do with this...

You are probably using PHP connecting to a windows AD server.

        ldap_set_option($ds, LDAP_OPT_PROTOCOL_VERSION, 3); // case 247065
        ldap_set_option($ds, LDAP_OPT_REFERRALS, 0);
        $br = ldap_bind($ds, $sdomainuser, $spassword);

Open up CPersonList.php and look for the ldap_bind call.  Add the two ldap_set_option lines above right before it.
