Search by Project

We have recently expanded the use of FogBugz in our organization across multiple development projects. As we add cases to those other projects we have come across a bit of a nuisance.

When using the search feature for cases, there is no easy way to limit the search to only the relevant project. In almost when we type a search term we know exactly which project we want a hit in. If we just type the term, we have to wade through all the issues on projects we aren't currently working on. This has pretty much eliminated our ability to use the previously very useful search feature. Any hope of adding a project dropdown to the search form in the next version?

That's exactly what brought me to this forum too. Until now I had been using FogBugz for a single app. Now that I have two apps I find the search function much less useful. I too would find it very useful to be able to specify the project that the search should apply to.

There's got to be plenty of people who use fogbugz to keep track of multiple projects. How do you deal with not being able to limit the searches to a given project?

A nice solution would be a simple checkbox which means "full text search within the currently active filter". Then you could easily scope full-text search to anything you liked.

We've got this on the wishlist for a future version and I'm adding your comments to the case.  Thanks!
