I've a problem with FB downloading from a POP3 mailbox, symptomised by the "message is stuck in mailbox" error. When cases are created, they have no original email content (no title, and no "Incoming email received" box).
However, the message (well, many actually, as I've been testing) /can/ be retrieved fine by having a manual POP3 dialogue, yet turning on FB debugging and hitting heartbeat.asp manually results in this in the pop.txt log;

S: RETR 1
(and nothing more).
I'm running FogBugz v4.0.33 (DB 469) on Windows Server 2003, and the POP3 server is running a custom-built courier-imap-2.2.0 on a remote CentOS (a RedHat-Enterprise clone) box.
Hmm, it hangs after the RETR, but /only/ when doing so from the server running FogBugz... from my desktop PC (on the same network) it works fine :(
Fixed it; the POP3 server name I was using was resolving to an internal address, tunnelling via a (broken) VPN to the POP3 server. Changed it to use a real/external IP address, and it works fine now.
Thanks for your help anyway Michael,
