RSS Summary Link missing in Thunderbird

I am using RSS feeds from FB in a FireFox browser to Thunderbird (in summary form).  The resulting message looks like this:
  Purchase Order - Laptop - opened 3/5/2008 7:00 PM
  4 – Moderate
  Assigned to Chip Hartney
  Active(fix for Undecided)  No Estimate

My partner in this project is routing the feeds to Outlook.  he gets the above summary and a "View article" link below which can be clicked to access the case in FB.

I don't get the link.  I checked the source of the message in Thunderbird and it definitely has no link defined in it, so it's not a case of TB not displaying it correctly or some such.

The content of the message is:
      <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://post.asi.lck/FogBugz/styles.asp?lang=en-US&6.1.39" />Purchase Order - Laptop - opened 3/5/2008 7:00 PM<br />4 &#38;#8211; Moderate<br />Assigned to <a href="http://post.asi.lck/FogBugz/default.asp?pg=pgPersonInfo&amp;ixPerson=5" title="Phone: 415-892-8298 Email:">Chip Hartney</a><br />Active<span class="bugFixFor">(fix for&nbsp;Undecided)&nbsp;</span> <span class="bugNoEstimate">No Estimate</span>

What gives?

I'm pretty sure the "View article" link is just a think that Outlook does.  We're not putting that into the RSS feed info...

Yeah, that's the <link> parameter in the RSS rendered in Outlook as a link.  It's also the URL that opens when you press V or select Show Original in Google Reader.

It's part of the standard RSS spec, and we are following the correct procedure for this value.
