FogBugz Halloween Treat

Check out a little treat we put together for Halloween.  It basically instructs you how to create bug templates.

Extra Credit:

I've messed around with Javascript bookmarklets enough to know they confuse me.  That's where you come in!  Combining the techniques in this blog post with bookmarklets should allow you to create a bookmarklet you can drag to the toolbar which would take a current bug page and spawn a new case from it.  You just need to get the case number from the page and put into the URL in the form of sEvent=Spawned+from+case+nnnn.  Not sure if it's accessible but the goBug Javascript object should have all the case info, including the ID.  You might need to look under the unsafeWindow.goBug object to find it.

First person to post a solution gets some Fog Creek schwag and seven(7!) Copilot Day Passes!  That's a full week of helping out your friends and relatives (possibly saving your Thanksgiving as well).

Please tell me you guys haven't just put an open-access form on the web which can send an email to any address via your servers...

I think people had realised by about 1998 that was a bad idea.
