Win2k8 64bit (yes, again)

I searched back and found a few threads where its been stated that the above is not yet supported.
eg &

I couldn't find anything since June and using the DEP 'turn-off' command isn't working for me.

Is there any update on support for the Win2k8 Server 64bit edition?

We have stacks of apps that can't run on 64 bit IIS (for example, our many PHP apps, and all but one .asp based apps).

I am just not worried about FB only running in 32 bit mode.... this is true of almost every non .NET app, and even of many .NET apps....

Give it a few more years....

(This is what virtualization is for.... so the app that really needs to be 64 bit runs in its own VM... at least, that is what we do. Three VM's on ESX, only one of which runs 64 bit IIS, the other two run 32 bit IIS... several web apps spread across those VMs.)

That is my take, anyway.

Actually this only required a few changes to our setup program and not really any changes to FogBugz so last week, for one of our customers who was having problems, I troubleshooted what was wrong in setup and fixed it.

I'm releasing that new setup now. (Should be on the download servers in an hour or so as 6.1.39).

Do this now mean that 2K8 (32 and 64 bit) is a supported OS for FB?

If so, is now out of date?

(Does the DEP fix also fix the Vista install issue?)

Also, starting from, how does one find a. what the latest version is, and b. the release notes for it?  I must be very dim today.

DEP fix fixes Vista and Win2k8.  The installer should run on 32 bit or 64 bit now.  I fixed it myself, without the devs, so I have to say it's supported by only by me :)

From - just click Support in the top right.

Scroll down and you will see
a. what the latest version is,
b. the link to the release notes for it
