Change Subject line format

I have found a few threads that show how to change some of the Subject line, but I need just a little more. Some places suggested editing the CBug.asp. Another said to edit langdecl.asp and lang.asp. Could you tell me which fields I need to edit, and which asp page to edit?

Our Subject line now reads:  MTI (Case 1234)

and we would like to change the format to:  MTI1234.

You don't need to edit the source code for that kind of change.

See this article:

If I'm understanding the article correctly, it does not apply to online users of FB.  And is there no way to do this for online users?

No, this is only available to local installs at the moment.

Are we able to eliminate the word "Case" as well as the parentheses in that registry string as well? If not, is there another way to accomplish this. We just want the Subject to be 'MTI1234' only.

No, you can't eliminate the word case unfortunately.

I'd like this as well, as well as being able to move the information to the back of the line. Also, I'd like to not have parentheses (), but rather square brackets, [] around the identifier.

Currently things look like this:
(Case 141) Create AD test account

I'd like that to be:
Create AD test account [QN #141]

Any chance we'll be seeing this kind of customization ability in an upcoming release?
