FogBugz Internal Error

I am getting the following.  I have cleared out the mailbox (using Outlook Express), and there are no email's in there! I made sure that they were deleted, the deleted folder emptied, and the option checked for "Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items'".

The Fog Creek Maintenance Service has reported an error.

14/03/2005 17:27:39: A message is stuck in mailbox XXX on server MAILSERVERXXX. Use Outlook Express to clear this message so FogBugz can continue. Click here to have FogBugz begin importing your mail from this mailbox again.

The FogBugz Maintenance Service is not running.

15/03/2005 09:37:26: The last time the FogBugz Maintenance Service ran successfully was 12/03/2005 23:59.

When I try and hit the Heartbeat.asp page on the actual server it's self, I get the following:
An internal error occurred in FogBugz. If you are unsure of how to fix this error, and you have made no changes to the source code of FogBugz, please report this error to Fog Creek Software by clicking "Submit."

Can anyone help?  It is becoming a bit of an issue!  We have followed all of the set-up guides, enabled anonymous access, set the anonymous user to be the FogBugz user, etc.

I believe that this is due to the UK-US date format!

If I execute the SQL statement using the date format "YYYY-MM-DD" (2005-3-15) locally using Query Analizer, it's fine.  However If I change it to "YYYY-DD-MM" it fails with the same SQL error!

Could it be this?  If so, how do I fix it?

Hi George-
Yes, it looks like we must have some improper date-parsing code. I'm working on a fix right now, and will email you as soon as I have it tested.

We're talking about the best way to fix the general problem: in your case, it sounds like the quickest way to get you running again is to do the following:

In util.asp, there are three instances of this line:

stNow = Year(Now()) & "-" & Month(Now()) & "-" & Day(Now()) & " " & _

Replace each of these with this line

stNow = Year(Now()) & "-" & Day(Now()) & "-" & Month(Now()) & " " & _

. . . and then hit heartbeat.asp again to test it.

Ahah!  That's done it!  It appears to be working as expected now!
