Add Additional Status Options?

Is there a method of adding additional Bug Status options?

For example, we go through the following development cycle:

1 - Reported
2 - Requirements Gathering
3 - Pending Development
4 - In Development
5 - Development Completed
6 - In Testing
7 - Testing Passed
8 - Testing Failed
9 - Deployed

The status option really only allows us Active / Inactive. In FB5 we've been using the Priority field to store this information, but we'd like to use the priority for what it is meant for.  Thoughts?

+1 on this request. We added additional status values to the table which works marginally, but is a little Kludgy.

As John suggests, the only way to do this now is to add some new entries to the Status table.  Use the existing entries as a guide for creating the new ones.

I have added both of these votes to the open feature request for customizable statuses.

We have been doing this for some time now, but today I found a wrinkle when doing this in FB6. Any new status codes you add are considered by the system to be "Resolved". Using this approach makes the EBS graphs to predict release dates pretty much worthless if you have more than one status that should be considered as still active. For example, we have a "Dev in progress" code that we use to show which cases are being worked on and shouldn't be shifted to the next iteration. FogBugz 6 treats these in the reports as completed regardless of whether there is any time left in the estimated time remaining.

Add one more vote for the Customizeable Status feature.  We use a similar process as mentioned by Keith Mangold, and having the ability to cusotmize this field would help a lot.
