FB6 DB Upgrade Error - Conversion of char to date (UK English)

When I attempted to upgrade our FogBugz system to version 6 I got a fatal error along the lines of:

FogBugz encountered an error upgrading your FogBugz database and rolled back all changes.  The error is:

200: The conversion of a char data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range datetime value.  SQL: UPDATE WorkingSchedule SET dtLastUpdated = '2007-09-20 04:48:42' WHERE ixPerson > -1'

Please correct the error and try the upgrade again.

Seems that the problem is the format of the date.  Since our database is set to UK English locale it doesn't accept that as a viable datetime string.

Seems that 'dd MMM yyyy hh:mm:ss' would have been more widely accepted as a datetime format.

Anyway, I hope you can fix this soon as I can't upgrade to FB6

That's really odd considering that date format is basically the ISO standard format.

YYYY-mm-dd hh:mm:ss

I'll create a case for the developers to take a look.

:)

I believe you!!  I just don't understand why its happening (regardless of what your date format is, SQL Server should be accepting that date format.  Our date format here is mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss but the standard ISO type format works in all sql queries).

I've created a case and assigned it to a dev to take a look.  Thanks for the screenshot.
