Multiple developers/testers for a feature

I would like to enter each feature as a case in forbugz. But we will be multiple people doing mulitple steps for each feature: programming, graphics, verification, check against manual etc. Whats the best way to structure this, multiple cases per feature?

If the work is to be done sequentially, for example: programming, then graphics, then check against the manual etc. I would open one case and just assign the case to the person responsible for each of the stage during the lifetime of the case.

If some of the stages can be worked on in parallel, I would open a different case that linked to the original case.

If there are better ways, of course, I am sure the fellows in the community with more experience will suggest them.

We have this scenario and have just added additional resolution statuses to accomodate testing and other steps in the development life-cycle. It is a bit clunky because you have to mark the case resolved (when it really isn't) to move it to the next step, but it works.

Hopefully one day the FC guys will realize that testers participate in the case resolutions process and incorporate it into the product.
