Mails get stuck. Both incoming and outgoing

Warning: Some errors have occurred in your FogBugz installation.

Regarding both sending replies on cases and incoming mails.

While sending (notice the > in rcpt address):


and error message:

[pear_error: message="Failed to send data [SMTP: Invalid response code received from server (code: 554, response: no valid RCPT address specified)]" code=10006 mode=return level=notice prefix="" info=""]

The user Peter does have (and not with an >) in FB. What could be causing this?

Problem two, incoming mail:

 The Fog Creek Maintenance Service has reported an error. -  Delete
    2007-09-19 15:59:14: A message is stuck in mailbox it on server Use Outlook Express to clear this message so FogBugz can continue. Click here to have FogBugz begin importing your mail from this mailbox again.

This happens over and over again. Is there a way for me to get more info about this? Is it messages with attachments? Is size of attachment relevant? Is it corrupt mails?

Please share your thoughts.

Can you send an email via our contact form at ?

The reason is I suspect that the host or peter's actual email address may have uncovered a bug, but regardless we'll need the actual word for word error message and I don't want you to have to post his full email on the forum.
