Create tickets?

If a bug is submitted via e-mail, it does not get a ticket.  Has anyone found a way to create tickets?

If a case is created via email it *is* given a ticket id, if you have auto-reply set for that mailbox anyway.

You can use the snipets {ticket} and {ticketurl} in the body of the auto-reply message template.
