Upgrading from 5 not 6 not a happy experience

We have been happily using fogbugz 5 for a year now, hosted by ValliantHosting.

We asked to upgrade to version 6. This does indeed look really nice and has some nice features.

Unfortunately, we can not open half our cases due to server internal error messages :-(

We have error message
Failed to update the search index: -2147467259 - Cannot open database requested in login 'our login'. Login fails.

What is the problem???

It's a permissions problem related to the search service (it isn't running as the right user).  Have your hosting provider look at this post (the second part) http://support.fogcreek.com/default.asp?fogbugz.4.18339.4

They just need to run register.bat in the Accessories folder and set the search service to run as the correct user.

Applying the changes fixed it but then the problem has returned :-(

What could cause that?

In your error message quote, you replaced your login with the words "our login".  Is that showing up as the same login in your error message now?  If so, does that login have full permissions on your db still?
