A forum for technical support discussion related to Fogbugz.
Since I'm the only one that sends mail to my FB installation (usually forwarding somebody else's mail that I've received), I don't need any notifications, so in the Mail tab of Settings, under SMTP Server, I've selected "Fogbugz will not send mail". Yet everyday I get a warning, "Please set a valid SMTP server in your site settings." Is there a way to turn off outgoing mail without getting these warnings?
It also mentions "XX pending messages" under Mail Queue Information. Where is this queue?
I'm running FB 6.0.25 (DB 612) on Windows 2000 SP3.
It sounds like at one point it decided to send mail, so now there's a message in the queue. Try deleting all rows from the MailQueue table in the db and THEN setting FogBugz to not send email anymore.
