FB6 and sql error message

Okay, I understand why I got this error, but I'm not sure if the handling of this error is as intended; or if it could have been prevented.

I edited a saved filter, and inadvertently, I changed the sort by order to:
1 - Priority
2 - Status
3 - Open or Closed

I then saved the filter changes, and then proceed to run the filter.  I then get a SQL error:
"A column has been specified more than once in the order by list. Columns in the order by list must be unique."

It then lists the rather lengthy sql statement -- I will only list the last part of the offending sql statement:
"ORDER BY Bug.ixPriority, Bug.fOpen DESC, Bug.ixStatus , Bug.fOpen , Bug.ixBug"

Just thought someone at FC might like to know.

This is definitely a bug.  I've opened a case for it.  Thanks!
