Assigning case manually when resolving

We've been using version 6 for a couple of days now and are really really excited about all the new functionality.  One thing that we were wishing might be changed was the fact that when you resolve a case it automatically gets resolved to the person who created it.  This has been brought up before in past topics i.e. http://support.fogcreek.com/default.asp?fogbugz.4.12626.5

Being that this change hasn't been put into version 6, I was wondering if the custom code change has become any simpler by chance?

Being that it is so easy to create new cases in version 6 I can see how developer may be creating a lot of their own cases as they see the need and then when the want to resolve it and assign it to the project manager or testing person it becomes a two step process.

just curious if there has been any changes on this issue, it seems to be a somewhat moderately demanded change so maybe its in the mix for an upcoming minor release.

Again great work on version 6, we are really becoming a lot more productive with the wiki

Hi Ben,

This feature is definitely still on our radar.  I can't make any promises as to if and when it will be implemented - there continue to be debates here as to how to implement this feature in a way consistent with the rest of the FogBugz ethos.  But I can assure you that we haven't forgotten about it.
