A forum for technical support discussion related to Fogbugz.
I have FogBugz integrated with SortoiseSVN. While looking to solve a problem, I found this in the help for setting up TortoiseSVN: "We used to ask people to execute the above commands with the -R flag to do this recursively, but it has been reported that this can slow down Subversion."
I set this up long a ago and I know I added all the properties recursively. How can I learn more about this slow down of Subversion if these integration properties are in each directory?

If you aren't seeing slowness with TortoiseSVN, you're safe just leaving the properties set on all of your tree.
The reason for the note in our documentation is that the properties are only necessary at the root of the repository.
If you check out only part of a tree, you'll need the properties on the top-level you have checked out, so having them set everywhere makes that use of svn easier.
