Feature request: stripes

When I'm scrolling through the history of a case with lots of posts, it can be hard to differentiate between them, especially when they're long and wordy. It would be nice if alternate posts were slightly different colours.

Another "nice to have" but probably contentious feature is the ability to widen the view. Sometimes I post access log portions and these are hard to read when they're wrapped.

You will be happy with 7.3.  (I've already said too much.)

In the meantime you could always use the bugmonkey plug-in with the following code snippet.

//alternate colors in case detail events
$(".bugevent:odd").css("background-color","#E0E9F1")

This appears to interfere with the StrikeOut plugin. Adding something like this to the CSS (instead of the JavaScript) works better:
.bugevent:nth-child(odd)  { background-color: #F0F0FF }
.bugevent:nth-child(even) { background-color: #F0F0F0 }
