Delete old attachments

I would like to delete attachments older than a specific date from my Fogbugz database. Is there a query I can run to do this? I have too many cases to open each one and edit them manually. I want to keep the cases, and I know I can't delete attachments sent in email. Thanks

Find a bugevent for an old date that you want to delete attachments before.  Let's say that bugevent is ixBugEvent 4000 for example's sake.

Then the query becomes

UPDATE Attachment SET sData = '' where ixBugEvent < 4000

Which of the above is the correct query to execute?

Use the UPDATE command (safer than actually deleting the row).
