Feature converted to bug when editited with Backlog plugin (FB7)

We have most of our cases entered as features (trying to use Scrum). When editing the Backlog in the list view our cases sometimes change from Features to Bugs. We haven't established a pattern yet.

This phenomenon also seems to occur when editing in bulk mode or sometime even editing in detail mode.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I have one other customer that has mentioned this same behavior... that case categories are changed.  A repro case would really help (they weren't able to supply one).

I was working on that last night. I noticed that the cases that were switching where ones that were initially entered as bugs (because the default wasn't noticed) and later switched to features. Sometimes when they were edited they switched back to bugs. I tried reproducing the error by initially entering bugs, switching them to features, then editing them. This did not work. I will keep my eyes open.

Just to be clear it doesn't just happen using the Backlog plugin. This is the first place I noticed it. I have noticed it when editing individual cases using the detail editor as well. Intermittently, when I save a case that is currently a feature it sometimes gets converted to a bug.

The one common thread (I think) so far is that the cases that are flipping were originally entered as bugs.

We're having trouble reproducing this.

Are you using On Demand or installed FogBugz?  If the latter, what version?

What browser are you using when this happens?

Have you customized your workflow at all, or added categories or statuses?

Are you creating cases by going to New Case at the top, or by using quick case entry on the case list page?  When you changed them to features, did you do it in bulk or one at a time?
