POSSIBLE BUG: Forced to supply credentials on every click

Hey All,
This might have already been reported but I was in a login loop.  I was forced to supply my credentials every time I clicked on a link.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: After logging in with option "remember me" checked, I should be able to navigate the UI without the need to login again.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR: I was prompted for credentials on every button/link click.

REPRO:  I believe the trigger event was that I was logging in with someone elses credentials before my own.  Its okay, they are a direct report to me :)  After that, the bug appeared.

SOLUTION: On IE, go to Tools, --> Internet Options --> Delete.  I deleted all cookies, temporary internet files, saved form data, and history.  I dont know which steps are required and which are not.  This worked for me but was annoying.  Thanks.

Let us know if it happens again.

That is happening to us as well. It just recently started to do so.

We have multiple installations of FB on one single server.

I have noticed that some cookies used by FB (namely fbToken and DBID) do not use the "Path" property correctly and thus overwrite these token each other.

I guess that withsome AJAX magics you would end up being logged out at every link you click if you just forgot some tab open on the other FB instance.

Micheal, can you please confirm this is a bug and let us know if you are going to address it?

Correct, there is a bug if you have multiple installs on the same server that you get logged out because FogBugz is not setting the cookies with the correct path.  I believe Jacob is working on a fix for this.
