Let me edit wiki article HTML!

I am growing increasingly frustrated with the wiki. [I'm using FogBugz 7.0.29 and Chrome 3.0.195.24, though other users in my office are using IE or Firefox.]
I cannot reliably create lists, without extraneous lines being inserted. Nor can I easily paste code text – every line is auto-formatted as a paragraph, and when I attempt to (manually) convert the paragraphs to line-breaks, the whitespace is instead wrapped with '<span class="Apple-tab-span">'.
Am I missing something?
The FogBugz wiki is a veritable sieve of abstractions – just let me edit the dang HTML myself!

I would also like to be able to switch off the WYSIWYG in the wiki but use for example wikitext rather than raw HTML.

To clarify – I don't need access to HTML if markup would be easier. But the wiki articles are stored in HTML-stub form (i.e. the HTML code that would normally appear within the <body> element of a valid HTML page). Maybe some form of 'wiki' markup would be better long-term, but HTML markup is pretty straightforward and I would imagine it is much easier for you to add editing capability for the data that's already stored in the DB.

More information – I am not experiencing the same problems with IE (or, at least, not the problem with line-breaks). I'll try some additional browsers and report the results.
